Cupcakes for a Cure: GoldPine Home in Bemidji holds cupcake bake-off
GoldPine Home in Bemidji held its first Cupcakes for a Cure Bakeoff last month, raising more than $300 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

Prizes were donated by local businesses. Community members participated by entering 30 varieties of cupcakes. Judges selected winners in the following categories: Best Decorating, Best Tasting and Most Unique. People in attendance voted for the People’s Choice award by placing money donations next to their favorite cupcakes. Attendees and residents then got to taste the cupcakes entered in the bakeoff.
