Crime report for Oct. 31
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls Thursday:
1:26 a.m. A 27-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting in the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
3:51 a.m. A 41-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault on 600 block of Bemidji Avenue N.
10:19 a.m. A BB gun pistol was found discarded in the brush near the Sanford Center. It was photographed and discarded.
12:01 p.m. A one car accident involving a stop sign was reported on Middle School Road NW and 23rd Street NW.
2:13 p.m. Officers responded to report of possible gas leak which was found to be a backed up sewage pipe on 2400 block of Calihan Ave. NE.
11:19 a.m. Panhandlers were warned to move along from a store on 200 block of 3rd Street NW.
8:56 p.m. A person was reported harassing people on the 100 block of 3rd Street NW. Suspect not confirmed.
10:22 p.m. An underage male was reported attempting to purchase alcohol at Brigids Cross Irish Pub.
11:24 p.m. A 20-year-old man was cited for disturbing the peace while consuming alcohol on the 1500 block of Calihan Ave. NE.
11:50 p.m. A 20-year-old man was arrested for minor consumption on 2300 block of Calihan Ave. NE.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls Thursday:
2:35 p.m. A hit and run was reported involving a suspect hitting the Bemidji Police DARE vehicle at the middle school.
4:30 p.m. A 19-year-old woman was cited for no Minnesota driver’s license following investigation of a motor vehicle accident.
5:17 p.m. A 22-year-old woman was arrested for an outstanding local warrant and a 21-year-old woman was cited following a rear end traffic crash on 20100 block of Mission Road SE.
7:51 p.m. A 41-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant.
8:33 p.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested on a warrant on Highway 2 NW in Bemidji.
