Crime report for May 28
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls on Wednesday:
8:47 a.m. Items were reported stolen from a garden shed on the 400 block of Great Divide Road NW in Puposky. No suspects at this time.
9:40 a.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following a sex crime call to the 5100 block of Kappes Lane SE in Cass Lake.
4:23 p.m. A report was made of a sex crime involving an address on Branch Court NW in which a male client at a group home claimed to have sex with a female staff person. She can no longer have contact with male.
10:30 a.m. A single ATV rollover was reported on the 25200 block of Van Pelt Road NW in Grygla.
4:58 p.m. A vehicle struck a building on the 4800 block of Jones Town Hall Road NW in Solway. No arrest or injury reported.
8:17 p.m. A 44-year-old man was arrested for third-degree DWI, test refusal and probation violations following a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Coyote Road and North of Radar Road NW.
10:25 p.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested for driving after cancellation and a 22-year-old woman was arrested for violating a no drink order and allowing illegal operation on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
11:20 p.m. Report of a house being shot on N. Plantagenet Road SW. Currently under investigation.
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls on Wednesday:
1:07 a.m. A complaint of theft through a broken window in a vehicle was made on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
7:39 a.m. A light pole was damaged at BSU on the 400 block of 14th Street NE.
1:23 p.m. A counterfeit bill was passed at a business on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive S.
2:19 a.m. A 36-year-old man was arrested on a probation violation on the 600 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
