Crime report for Mar. 11
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls on Tuesday:
1:38 a.m. Deputy checked on a vehicle in the ditch. Driver of vehicle stated he tried missing a deer but ultimately hit the deer and ended up in the ditch on Cardinal Road NW and Feelinrite Lane NW. No medical needed.
3:38 p.m. A 22-year-old man was cited for financial crimes on the 100 block of Clark Ave. S. and again at 3:51 p.m. on the 200 block of Clark Ave. S. in Kelliher.
4:06 p.m. A 24-year-old woman was cited for financial crimes on the 100 block of Clark Ave. S. in Kelliher.
9:29 a.m. A 28-year-old man was arrested on a warrant at the Beltrami County Jail.
11:31 p.m. A juvenile male turned himself in on a warrant. He was transported to Northwestern Juvenile Center.
Note: The missing person from a call on Monday on the 4100 block of Cherry Lane NE returned prior to law enforcement arrival.
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls on Tuesday:
8:55 a.m. Officer collected a counterfeit bill from Riverwood Bank.
10:19 a.m. A woman reported having no contact with her sister for several months.
12:14 p.m. A 92-year-old woman was cited for failure to yield after an officer responded to a two car crash on the 300 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
2:25 p.m. An assault occurred at the Bemidji Middle School.
4:15 p.m. Officers were called to remove three intoxicated subjects from People’s Church.
6:34 p.m. A 36-year-old man was arrested after turning himself in on a warrant at the Law Enforcement Center.
2:31 p.m. A 23-year-old man was cited for shoplifting on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
6:55 p.m. A 19-year-old woman and a 48-year-old woman were cited for shoplifting at Walmart and subsequently arrested on warrants.
7:51 p.m. A 29-year-old woman was cited for shoplifting at Walmart.
