Crime report for April 7
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls on Monday:
1:25 a.m. A 55-year-old man was arrested on a warrant following a suspicious person call on 5th Street NW and Jefferson Ave. SW.
1:37 p.m. A 39-year-old man was arrested on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
7:27 p.m. A 22-year-old man was cited for burning prohibited materials on the 7300 block of Jewel Drive NE.
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls on Monday:
11:25 a.m. A juvenile was arrested following report of an assault at Bemidji Middle School.
12:31 p.m. Individual reported theft of an iPad from his vehicle on the 1900 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
12:45 p.m. Officer took report of theft of a purse from a vehicle on the 1200 block of Industrial Park Drive SE.
1:37 p.m. A 39-year-old man was arrested for fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct and fleeing a peace officer following a vehicle pursuit on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
3:52 p.m. Officer responded to report of a subject striking a light pole with a vehicle on the 2500 block of Hannah Ave. NW.
8:04 p.m. A juvenile female was arrested on a warrant on the 800 block of 2nd Street SE.
9:29 p.m. A 34-year-old woman was arrested for DWI on the 500 block of 21st Street NW.
9:52 p.m. An individual was given a ride to the law enforcement center to warm up after officer responded to a welfare check for an individual laying on the sidewalk outside of a business on the 100 block of 3rd Street NW.
