A benefit in support of Robert Crandall of Bemidji is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. June 24 at the Bemidji Eagles Club.
Crandall, 56, has been diagnosed with stage-four liver cancer. After receiving chemotherapy, he is now eligible for a liver transplant. All proceeds from the benefit will help offset medical expenses.
The event will include a spaghetti feed, music, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, a large-item raffle and kids games. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children. Kids age 5 and under will be admitted free.
Anyone wishing to donate a raffle item should email Peggy Crandall at firstname.lastname@example.org. Monetary donations can be made at the benefit or sent to First National Bank Bemidji, in care of Robert Crandall Benefit Fund, 1600 Paul Bunyan Drive NW, Bemidji MN 56601.
Supplemental funding will be provided by Beltrami County Thrivent Chapter 31326.
