CPA Wayne Maish joins Johanneson's

The Johanneson Companies have announced the addition of new controller Wayne Maish.

Maish has 11 years of experience in all facets of auditing, taxes and accounting. He will oversee all aspects for company accounting and payroll.

He is a graduate of Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, along with certified public accountant licensure and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Company President and CEO Keith Johanneson said he is extremely pleased to have an experienced controller with public accounting experience. Maish said he is excited to be a part of the management team at Johanneson's and looks forward to adding value by bringing financial and compliance expertise to support the company's objectives.

Maish and his wife, Cassie, along with their children, Ethan, Carson and Addison, live in Bemidji. He is an active community member and serves as treasurer of the Bemidji Area Softball Association. He enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Johanneson's owns supermarkets, gas stations and liquor stores in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
