Cowboy Jacks to be part of south shore project

BEMIDJI —A new restaurant is preparing to bring its Wild West atmosphere to Bemidji.
Cowboy Jacks, a chain operated by the Minneapolis-based After Midnight Group, is now connected to the proposed Country Inn and Suites hotel. A Buffalo Wild Wings and Crooked Pint Ale House were previously connected to the project on the city’s south shore.
The proposed restaurant would be the first Cowboy Jacks outside the Twin Cities metro area and the first one connected to a hotel, said Jesi Mosny, the group’s marketing representative. The After Midnight Group also runs the legendary concert venue the Cabooze in Minneapolis.
She said the owners have visited Bemidji a few times, and “loved the area.”
“They feel like it’s a great area to open,” Mosny said.
Cowboy Jacks offers its own brand of barbeque sauce along with an array of other American-style food, from ribs to sandwiches along with pizza.
