The following cases were heard March 14 by Beltrami District Judge Paul T. Benshoof:

Gerald Raymond Gustafson, 53, of Bemidji was sentenced for first-degree drug sale to 189 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. He has been credited with 21 days time served.

The following cases were heard March 17 by Beltrami District Judge John G. Melbye:

Jeanne Louise Pizzala, 46, of Bemidji was sentenced for third-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 350 days are stayed for three years. Pizzala must serve 15 days and may do so on work release if eligible. She has been credited for three days time served. Pizzala has been placed on three years court probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Ryan Lee Needham, 33, of Bemidji was sentenced for driving after cancellation to 108 days in the Beltrami County Jail. Needham has been credited with 108 days time served. He must pay a $50 fine.

Kopen Lins Sandstrom, 36, of Bemidji was sentenced for third-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 355 days are stayed for three years. Sandstrom must serve 10 days and may do so on work release if eligible. He has been credited for two days time served. Sandstrom has been placed on three years court probation and must pay a $750 fine.
