The following cases were heard July 28 by Beltrami District Judge Shari R. Schluchter:

Timothy Wayne Barrett, 33, of Minneapolis was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine to 75 days in the Beltrami County Jail. He has been credited with 44 days time served. Barrett has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a misdemeanor conviction. Barrett must pay a $1,000 fine, which may be done through community service.

Eugene Ford, 46, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drug possession of Hydrocodone to 13 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, which has been stayed for five years. Ford must serve 70 days in the Beltrami County Jail. He has been credited with 47 days time served. Ford has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine, which may be paid through community service.

Garrett Francis Alexi Goodman, 21, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony check forgery to 12 months and one day in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, which has been stayed for five years. Goodman must serve 207 days in the Beltrami County Jail and may do so on sentence-to-serve if eligible. He has been credited with 138 days time served. Goodman has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine, which may be done through community service.

Timothy Joseph Goodman, 28, of Bemidji was sentenced for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and fourth-degree DWI. Goodman was sentenced to 30 days in the Beltrami County Jail for the fleeing charge. Goodman has been credited with six days time served. He has been placed on four years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge. Goodman was sentenced to 90 days in the Beltrami County Jail for the DWI charge of which 60 days are stayed for two years. He may serve 30 days on sentence-to-serve if eligible and has been credited with six days time served. Goodman was placed on two years court probation and must pay a $300 fine, which may be done through community service.

John Robert Henry III, 30, of Hines was sentenced for second-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 275 days are stayed for four years. Henry must serve 90 days and may do so on work release if eligible. He has been credited with four days time served. Henry has been placed on four years court probation and must pay a $200 fine, which may be done through community service.

Deandre Lamond Jones, 19, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of heroin to 75 days in the Beltrami County Jail, which may be done on sentence-to-serve if eligible. Jones has been credited with 41 days time served. Jones has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a misdemeanor conviction. Jones must pay a $1,000 fine.

William Clifford Jones, 21, of Cass Lake was sentenced for felony felon in possession of a firearm and felony possession of methamphetamine to 60 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for the firearm charge. Jones was sentenced to a concurrent 51 months in St. Cloud for the methamphetamine charge. He has been credited with 100 days time served. Jones must pay a $50 fine.

Todd Leigh Weldon, 43, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fifth-degree drug possession and two driving after cancellation charges. Weldon was sentenced to 19 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, which is stayed for five years for the drug possession charge. He must serve 55 days in the Beltrami County Jail and has been credited with 37 days time served. He has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine, which may be done through community service. Weldon was sentenced to one year in the Beltrami County Jail for his first driving after cancellation charge of which 335 days are stayed for two years. Weldon must serve 30 days and has been credited with 20 days time served. Weldon has been placed on two years court probation and must pay a $500 fine, which may be done through community service. Weldon was concurrently sentenced for a second driving after cancellation charge to a year in the Beltrami County Jail, which is stayed for two years. He has been placed on two years court probation and must pay a $500 fine, which may be done through community service.

Matthew Thomas White, 24, of Redby was sentenced for felony first-degree burglary with a dangerous weapon to 68 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. He has been credited with 85 days time served. White must pay a $50 fine, which has been stayed.
