The following cases were heard Jan. 13 by Beltrami District Judge John G. Melbye:

Loyd Nolan Fowler, 45, of Cass Lake was sentenced for driving after cancellation to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail. He has been placed on one year supervised probation. A $500 fine has been stayed for one year given he obtains a valid drivers license within six months. Fowler was also sentenced for second-degree burglary to 18 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud all of which is stayed for 10 years. He was sentenced to and credited for 68 days time served in the Beltrami County Jail. Fowler has been placed on 10 years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which may be done by community service.

Angelina Marie Moske Capitaine, 24, of Minneapolis was sentenced for fifth-degree drug possession to 81 days in the Beltrami County Jail. She has been credited for 81 days time served. Capitaine has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Debra Sioux Beckett, 37, of Morton was sentenced for giving peace officer a false name to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail all of which is stayed for two years. She has been placed on two years court probation and must pay a $500 fine of which $450 is stayed for two years.

Jamie Lee Jerome, 29, of Bagley was sentenced for second-degree felony drug sale to 48 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. He has been credited for 176 days time served. Jerome must pay a $50 fine.

Nona Faye Parkhurst, 25, of Ogema was sentenced for fifth-degree drug possession of Klonapin to 30 days in the Beltrami County Jail. She has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Brandon Wayne Masten, 28, of Cass Lake was sentenced for fifth-degree drug possession to 30 days in the Beltrami County Jail which he may serve on work release if eligible. Masten has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Rodney White, 44, of Redby was sentenced for felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle to 12 months and one day in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud all of which is stayed for four years. White must serve 104 days in the Beltrami County Jail which is credited as time served. He has been placed on four years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which he may do by way of sentence to serve.

Jason Michael Reed, 30, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony first-degree burglary to 44 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. He has been credited for 124 days time served. Reed must pay a $50 fine.

Andrayus Demiah Preston, 18, of Bemidji was sentenced for fifth-degree possession of Lorazepam to 30 days in the Beltrami County Jail. He has been credited for two days time served. Pre3ston has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Yvonne Katherine Fineday, 36, of Bemidji was sentenced for check forgery to 13 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee which is stayed for 10 years. Fineday must serve 60 days in the Beltrami County Jail. She has been placed on 10 years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which is stayed for 10 years based on the condition that restitution is paid as ordered.

Kenneth John Hamre, 63, of Bemidji was sentenced for second-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 335 days are stayed for four years. Hamre must serve 30 days. He has been placed on four years supervised probation and must pay a $3,000 fine which is stayed for four years.

Judith Marie Salvaag, 62, of Bemidji was sentenced for second-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 320 days are stayed for four years. Salvaag must serve 45 days and has been credited for 13 days time served. She has been placed on four years court probation and must pay a $750 fine.

The following cases were heard Jan. 17 by Beltrami District Judge John G. Melbye:

Dora Jean Keezer, 30, of Minneapolis was sentenced for third-degree assault to 267 days in the Beltrami County Jail. She has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine.

Donovan Alan Goodman, 24, of Minneapolis was sentenced for felony escape from custody to 18 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. Goodman was credited with 83 days time served. He must pay a $50 fine. Goodman was also sentenced for giving a peace officer a false name to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail and was credited for 83 days time served. A $50 fine was attached to that charge as well.

The following cases were heard Dec. 30 by Beltrami District Judge Shari R. Schluchter:

Joshua Evan Baker, 30, of Bemidji was sentenced for theft to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 341 days are stayed for two years. Baker must serve 24 days and may do so on sentence to serve if eligible. He has been credited for two days time served. Baker has been placed on two years court probation and must pay a $750 fine.

The following cases were heard Jan. 21 by Beltrami District Judge Shari R. Schluchter:

James Daniel Brennan, 20, of Bemidji was sentenced for fifth-degree possession of psiliocybin mushrooms to 30 days in the Beltrami County Jail and may do so on work release if eligible. He has been credited for two days time served and placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Darwin Lee Seeger, 28, of Waubun was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana to 30 days in the Beltrami County Jail. Seeger may serve time on work release if eligible and has been credited for two days time served. He has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which may be done by way of sentence to serve. Successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

Richard David Vigil, Jr., 27, of Bemidji was sentenced for harassment, violating a restraining order to 21 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud all of which is stayed for five years. Vigil must serve 90 days in the Beltrami County Jail and has been credited for 61 days time served. He has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which may be done by community service.

Daniel James Chapp, 53, of Cass Lake was sentenced for third-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 320 days are stayed for three years. Chapp must serve 45 days and may do so on work release if eligible. He has been placed on three years court probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which may be done through community service.

Derik William Allen, 35, of Bemidji was sentenced for obstructing legal process to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 335 days are stayed for two years. Allen must serve 30 days and has been credited for three days time served. He has been placed on two years supervised probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Laurie June Headbird, 24, of Cass Lake was sentenced for felony domestic assault to 21 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee all of which is stayed for five years. Headbird must serve 87 days in the Beltrami County Jail. She has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine which may be done by way of sentence to serve.

Jeremy Martin Jones, 38, of Bemidji was sentenced for violating predatory offender registration to 34 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. He has been credited for 53 days time served. Jones must pay a $50 fine.

Phillip Patrick Blooflat, 21, of Solway was sentenced for third-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 355 days are stayed for three years. Blooflat must serve 10 days and has been credited for three days time served. He has been placed on three years court probation and must pay a $750 fine which may be done by way of community service.

Daniel Lawrence Rath, 30, of Cass Lake was sentenced for giving peace officer a false name to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 335 days have been stayed for two years. Rath must serve 30 days and has been credited for 19 days time served. He has been placed on two years court probation and must pay a $750 fine which may be paid by way of community service.
