The following cases were heard on June 25 by Beltrami District Judge Paul T. Benshoof:

Tony Lee Jacobson, 41, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony third-degree assault to 26 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. Jacobson was credited with 167 days time served. He must pay a $50 fine.

The following cases were heard on June 25 by Beltrami District Judge Shari R. Schluchter:

Paul Jourdain Jr., 28, of Red Lake was sentenced for fifth-degree drug possession of Carisoprodol to 45 days in the Beltrami County Jail. He has been credited with 24 days time served. Jourdain has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Anthony Leland Lyseng, 54, of Shevlin was sentenced for third-degree DWI to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 350 days are stayed for three years. Lyseng must serve 15 days and may do so on work release if eligible. He has been credited with three days time served. Lyseng has been placed on three years court probation and must pay a $200 fine.

Nathan Keven Majava, 35, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony domestic assault and child endangerment to 24 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, which is stayed for five years for the assault charge Majava must serve 90 days in the Beltrami County Jail and may do so on work release if eligible. He has been credited with 20 days time served. Majava has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine, which may be done through community service. Majava was sentenced to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail for the endangerment charge of which 275 days have been stayed for two years. Majava must serve 90 days on work release if eligible. He has been credited with 20 days time served. Majava has been placed on two years supervised probation and must pay a $50 fine.

Ira Ray Mercurio, 37, of Bemidji was sentenced for driving after cancellation to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 355 days are stayed for two years. Mercurio must serve 10 days and has been credited with three days time served. He has been placed on two years court probation and must pay a $500 fine, which may be done through community service.

Richard David Vigil, 27, of Bemidji was sentenced for violating a harassment restraining order to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail. He has been credited with 120 days time served and must pay a $50 fine.

The following cases were heard on June 30 by Beltrami District Judge John G. Melbye:

Andrew Michael Grage, 32, of Bemidji was sentenced for terroristic threats to 365 days in the Beltrami County Jail of which 243 days are stayed for two years. Grage has been credited with 122 days time served. He has been placed on two years supervised probation and must pay a $50 fine, which may be done through community service.

Angela Ann Tanner, 40, of Laporte was granted a stay of adjudication for a theft charge. She has been placed on five years supervised probation upon successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.

Travis James Varney Jr., 22, of Redby was sentenced for felony third-degree heroin possession to 33 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. He has been credited with 113 days time served. Varney must pay a $50 fine.
