The following cases were heard June 10 by Beltrami County District Judge Paul Benshoof:

-- Steven Kyle Young, 23, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

He was sentenced to one year in jail, with 305 days stayed for two years. He is to serve 60 days on work release, if eligible. He was credited for three days already served.

He was placed on supervised probation for two years.

He cannot have access to or use the Internet without approval. He must attend a sex offender program. He must pay $989.53 restitution. He must pay a $1,000 fine and $85 in fees.

-- Scott Duane Erickson, 43, of Moorhead, was sentenced for felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

He was sentenced to prison for three years, which is stayed for 15 years. Conditional release after confinement has been set at 10 years. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, which he may serve on work release, if eligible.

He may serve in another county if at no cost to Beltrami County.

He was placed on supervised probation for 15 years. He must have no contact with the victim or the family, attend a sex offender program, and have no access or use of the Internet without approval except for employment purposes unless approved by the state Department of Corrections.

He must have no unsupervised contact with someone under the age of 18. He must register as a predatory offender.

He must pay a $1,000 fine and $83 in fees.

-- Todd Frederick Benson, 43, of Cass Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail, with 335 days stayed for three years. He was credited for three days already served.

He was placed on probation for three years. Community service is granted for a $750 fine, and he must pay $185 in fees.

-- Sean Douglas English, 30, of Wilton, was sentenced for felony terroristic threats.

His sentence is a stay of imposition. Successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

He was sentenced to 120 days in jail, and credited for 69 days already served. He was placed on supervised probation for five years.

Community service is granted for a $1,000 fine and he must pay $160 in fees. He must complete domestic abuse counseling and cannot have contact with the victim or their family.

-- Tyrin Harold Hagen, 22, of Grygla, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

He was sentenced to one year in jail, with 355 days stayed for three years. He is to serve 10 days on work release. He was given two days credit for time already served.

He may serve in another county if at no cost to Beltrami County.

He was placed on probation for three years. He must pay a $500 fine and $110 in fees.

-- Jenelle Marie Sletten, 25, of Bemidji, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI.

She was sentenced to one year in jail, with 363 days stayed for three years. She was given credit for two days already served.
