The tournament, now in its second year, starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

By Tuesday evening, 47 teams had signed up for the 64-team single-elimination tournament. Last year, 42 teams participated.

Registration for the event will be accepted during today's Sanford Health Foundation Taco Fundraiser from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. The taco fundraiser, with proceeds going to the purchase of a da Vinci robotic surgery unit for Sanford Health Bemidji, costs $7 and is being included as part of the festival for the first time. The cost of the fundraiser includes a large taco (on fry bread or flour torilla), ice cream, and pop.

Registration for the cornhole tournament can also be secured online at www.bemidjidragonboat.com until noon Thursday or when the field is full.

Cost is $20 per team and includes two drink tokens for the Dragon's Den and chance at great door prizes. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
