Conservation activist and author to visit Park Rapids

Headwaters Center for Lifelong Learning will host Darby Nelson, conservation activist and author of "For Love of Lakes," to speak on "The Future of Minnesota's Waters" from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Northwoods Bank in Park Rapids.

"For Love of Lakes," a book on water conservation, is one of four finalists for the Minnesota Book Award in the Creative Nonfiction category. Nelson will speak on the significant changes in Minnesota's water resources at the event. For more information, contact LuAnne at 732-7939.
