Community Theater, Playhouse to present Snow White musical

Bemidji Community Theater and the Paul Bunyan Playhouse will present a musical version of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1-2; at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3; and at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the Historic Chief Theater in downtown Bemidji. Admission is $5 for children and $10 for adults.

The musical is suitable for all ages.

The show is about seven dwarfs who live in a tiny house reminiscent of a tree house and three mice who befriend Snow White and try to help her escape the evil clutches of the queen. The costuming, reminiscent of German folk tales of the Middle Ages, is colorful and vibrant, as is the set that resembles a huge castle.

Tickets are available at Ken K. Thompson Jewelry at the Mall and Iverson Corner Drug in downtown Bemidji as well as at the door.
