Community mapping workshop planned
BEMIDJI - The Bemidji Chamber of Commerce will host a "Mapping Community Assets" workshop next month.
The workshop will include discussion about digital mapping technology, why it is important, helping the community by learning about digital maps and how to share points of personal or communal interest.
Anyone with ties to tourist attractions, park amenities, lodging, restaurants, coffee shops, gas stations, convenience stores and destination businesses are encouraged to attend.
The workshop will be from 1-3 p.m. June 6 in Deputy Hall 163 on the Bemidji State University campus.
The cost is $10 for Chamber members and $25 for non-Chamber members.
