Collins working with jazz students; concert set for Saturday

Kiku Collins has been working with jazz students in rehearsals and master classes for the high school and college band members who will be performing with in concert Saturday. Collins plays the trumpet, flugelhorn, cornet, pocket trumpet and valve trombone. The concert is part of the Bemidji Concert Series and will begin at 3 p.m. in Thompson Recital Hall. Tickets will be available at the door for $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students, and free for Bemidji State University students with a valid ID Pioneer Photo/Monte Draper
