College student struck and killed in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The victim struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minneapolis has been identified as a young college student.
Family members and friends at Augsburg College are mourning the loss of 20-year-old Austin Conley. He was a freshman who lived on campus and was majoring in business management.
Austin was hit about 3 a.m. Saturday in downtown Minneapolis by a driver who has not yet been found.
Conley's 21-year-old sister, Alissa, says her brother was a deeply caring person who never judged others and was a working student who held a job at Seven Sushi in downtown Minneapolis.
The Star Tribune says Augsburg College plans to remember Conley at a chapel service Monday.
