Civil Air Patrol to honor Korean War veterans

BEMIDJI – The Northland Composite Squadron, the area’s Civil Air Patrol (CAP) squadron, will host the 2012 Dining Out and Awards pro-gram for Korean War veterans beginning at 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at Bemidji High School.

Korean War veterans ad-mitted free with a plus-one. Additional family members must purchase banquet tickets for $22 each by calling 252-0682. Non-family members who wish to attend may also purchase tickets for the event.

In addition to honoring Korean War veterans, All Veterans Appreciation and Flag Folding and POW/MIA/KIA ceremonies will be held.
