Christmas angel makes difference at Bemidji store

This is the story of a Christmas angel.

With all the things going on in the world and at this time of the year, there are still people who care.

My family is here in Bemidji visiting. We went shopping at Target. My children had their Christmas money to shop with.

They were shopping and didn't have enough money for a gift for me. They said they were counting their money. "Not enough for Mom's gift," my daughter said. So they were talking and trying to think of what to do. Next thing they knew, a lady came up to them and handed both of them $2. They said they couldn't take the money. She told them when she was their age, at Christmas time she had the same problem they are having and the sales lady gave her what she was short to get Mom's gift. She told them that is what Christmas is about - giving and helping others.

I just want to thank this lady for helping my children, and now they have a new outlook on Christmas, too.

I don't know your name, but I do know you drive a gray SUV with "Dreemz" on the license plates.

She told my children if Mom wanted to know where they got the extra money, a Christmas angel gave it to them.

Thank you again, Christmas angel.
