Checks air in tires before Bike Bemidji ride

Bemidji State University student Jessica Schulz checks the air in her bicycle tires before riding in the Bike Bemidji community-wide event on Saturday morning. Helping Schulz with her bike is Crystal Middendorf, a student representative of the BSU Sustainability Office. Bike Bemidji welcomed families and individuals of all ages to ride up to 26 miles to Guthrie and back to promote alternative transportation and safe bicycling. Pioneer Photo/Anne Williams
