The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department said a deputy tried to pull the man over around 3 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 84 north of Hibbing. But the suspect jumped from the car and led officers on the chase.

A dog caught the man around noon. Officers found two stolen, loaded handguns, marijuana and metham-phetamines in the man's car, the sheriff's department said.

The suspect, who was wanted on several warrants, faces drug and weapons charges.
