Chase ends with fatal crash

WASECA, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a law enforcement chase through three southern counties ended with a fatal crash.

Authorities say the chase started about 3 a.m. Friday in the Mower County city of Austin, went through Freeborn County and ended when the suspect's car rolled over on Highway 13 in Waseca County.

State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske says the driver was thrown from the vehicle and died. The St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/UJup3M) reports authorities coordinating the chase said the man was a homicide suspect.
