Charlotte Marie Mosher, 94
Charlotte Marie Mosher, 94 of Bemidji, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Neilson Place in Bemidji.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bemidji, with the Rev. James DeSmidt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
Honorary pallbearers will be all the members of Presbyterian Women's Association.
Charlotte Marie Lindroth was born August 21, 1914 at the family's farm home in Grass Lake Township, Kanabec County, Minnesota, to Clarence and Amanda (Nystrom) Lindroth. She attended school in Grasston, Minn., graduating from the eighth grade. After moving to Crosby-Ironton, Minn. in 1929 her father died and she found work as a maid to help support the family. She met and married Paul Mosher in1937 and they moved to Bemidji in 1944. Charlotte joined the First Presbyterian Church in 1950 and was an active member until the time of her death serving as Elder, Deacon and member of the Presbyterian Women's Association. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she held many offices. She volunteered with the American Cancer Society, Hospice and Girl Scouts.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Gloria Phelps; two grandchildren, Randy Phelps and Lynn (Tony) Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Aaron St. Amand, Ashley (Matt) Troutman, Amber Phelps and Myra Johnson; one sister, Lorraine McCarvill; two brothers, Robert (Alice) Lindroth and Alden Jennison; and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; sister, Virginia and brothers Clifton, Layton, Clifford and Arthur.
