He was born on Nov 10, 1950, in Quincy, WA. He graduated from Cass Lake High School in 1969. Many that knew Charles respected him for his passion of hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. For those that loved him, he will be remembered most as a loving father and for his compassion. Charles owned and operated Chuck's Auto Salvage for almost 30 years and more recently Osborn Enterprises. He was heavily involved in Grand Rapids wrestling for many years. Charles both donated to and coached the Cohasset Cougars and Itasca Titans Wrestling Club. In addition, Charles supported his three sons Charlie, Spencer, and Quincy whom were all wrestlers. Charles loved nature and animals; he maintained a hobby farm where he cared for many types of animals including horses, bison, and lamas. Northern MN was dear to his heart and there is no place on earth he would rather have lived. A couple of Charles favorite places were "the lost 40" and Itasca State Park at the Headwaters of the Mississippi.

Charles is survived by his mother Onita (Desizlets) Osborn; son Charles Samuel Osborn III and his wife April (Frericks) and their children, Thade, Gavin and Samara; son Spencer Osborn; son Quincy Osborn and his wife Hannah (Mettling); his sister Diana (Osborn) King; brother Joe; brother Todd; brother Tommy; brother Ted; sister Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his request, there will be no services held. Charles Samuel Osborn, Jr. was a great upholder of the Osborn name and legacy.
