BEMIDJI – The Sanford Center has announced in the past week two more events coming to town.

On Monday, the center announced Michael Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance” event will be coming to Bemidji at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Also coming to town is the Coors Bull Riding Challenge at 7:30 p.m. March 22 and 23. Tickets for that event go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

A press release describes “Lord of the Dance” as a “mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance. The story is based upon mythical Irish folklore as Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, challenges the ethereal lord of light, the Lord of the Dance.”

Bull riding has come to the Sanford Center each of the past two years.

Tickets for all Sanford Center events may be purchased at the Ford Pickup Windows at the Sanford Center ticket office, any Ticketmaster retail location (including Lueken’s stores), phone by calling (800) 745.3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
