The search warrants resulted in two hydroponic marijuana growing operations being dismantled and dozens of marijuana plants, growing equipment, firearms and cash seized.

David Redding, 51, of Pillager was arrested on the rural Pillager property and charged with two counts of felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime. He was released from the Cass County Jail on bail.

The other suspect, a 39-year-old Motley man, was arrested on the Leader area property and remains in the Cass County Jail pending formal charges.

The arrests were the result of a continuing investigation by the Cass County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
