Cary Grant Howard, 63, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.
Cary Grant Howard was born to Delbert and Hannah Howard on Aug. 13, 1945 in Butte, Montana.
Cary joined the Marine Corps at the age of 17; he did two tours in Vietnam, serving his country with honor. Cary tried his hand in a lot of things over the years, from selling oranges and insurance to falling timber. What he liked best was cutting firewood, fishing, and singing karaoke. He will be missed.
Preceding Cary in death were his son, Cornelius George; his parents Delbert and Hannah Howard; two brothers Leroy and James Howard; one nephew and two great nephews.
Cary is survived by Sandra Williams; his sons Micheal, Martin and John; two stepdaughters, Doreen and Denise; his brothers, Orland (Lucy) Howard, Neil Howard, Richard (Sharon) Howard and Curtis (Sarah) Howard; two sisters, Diane (Ed) Sanders and Linda (Bill) Wells; seven nephews; nine nieces; 12 grandchildren; two great grandsons; one great granddaughter; as well as numerous great nephews, and great nieces.
Burial is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29, at the Atlanta Cemetery.
