Carving event supports scouting

HACKENSACK – Detour North Cabin Outfitters here hosted and sponsored Carve for the Kids Chainsaw Carving event on Labor Day weekend.

The event included four world class chainsaw artists producing live carvings. The carvings were donated for auction.
All proceeds from the event went to local youth serving organizations.
The donation will benefit local scouting, including the Bemidji area, through scholarships, camperships, volunteer training, program support, supplies and membership and camp promotion.
