Carrie Underwood schedules June 17 concert in Fargo

The morning after Carrie Underwood opened the Super Bowl, singing the national anthem to an international audience, the Fargodome announced the country star will perform on Fargo's biggest stage.

The four-time Grammy winning country singer will play the Fargodome June 17.

Underwood rose to fame in 2005 winning "American Idol." Her star continued to rise with the number one hit, "Jesus, Take the Wheel." She has landed a chart-topper every year since, including "Before He Cheats" and "Cowboy Cassanova."

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, according to a news release issued this morning by the Fargodome. Ticket prices were not announced.

Underwood will be joined by Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia.
