Card, Fagerstrom weigh biggest fish at Kraus-Anderson Walleye Classic
BEMIDJI - Peter Card and Al Fagerstrom teamed to catch the largest fish at last week's Kraus-Anderson Walleye Classic.
The duo landed a walleye that tipped the scale at 7.96 pounds.
Finishing second in the big fish category were Craig Gaasvig and Wally Treat with a 6.75-pound walleye. That fish was caught in 30 feet of water.
Andrew Ramberg and Andy Fisher were third in the big fish chase with a 5.49-pound walleye.
Winning the tournament with a five-fish limit that weighed 18.08 pounds was the father-son team of Kelly Hanson and Kaleb Hanson. A distant second were Luke Glime and Alan Binkley with 15.56 pounds.
Also topping the 15-pound barrier were Gary Murphy and Aaron Murphy with 15.17 pounds, Karl Dobmeier and Todd Imdieke with 15.08 pounds and Dave Hanson and Bob Strand with 15.00 pounds.
