Car hits and kills man in Glyndon
GLYNDON, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say a 42-year-old man died when he was hit by a car in Glyndon. The Minnesota State Patrol says the man was hit on Highway 10 in town at about 10 p.m. Sunday.
The patrol says witnesses said the man had tried to run across the road but slipped and fell into the path of the car.
Authorities say the driver was not injured and was interviewed.
Sergeant Randy Harms of the State Patrol says the vehicle's speed, drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
