Candlelight ski event set at state park

The Bemidji Area Cross Country Ski Club will host Bemidji's annual candlelit cross country ski and snowshoe walk from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Lake Bemidji State Park.

Kids, beginners and advanced skiers and snowshoers are welcome to attend. Live music and refreshments will be provided.

The event is free, but either a $5 daily or $25 yearly vehicle permit is required to enter Minnesota state parks. Skiers ages 16 and older must also purchase a daily Minnesota Ski Pass for $6.
