Business Success Seminar slated

The Center for Research and Innovation will host the Headwaters Business Success Seminar from 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the New City Ballroom, 2300 24th St. N.W. (south of Home Depot adjoined to the former Hungry Bear Buffet.)

The cost is $49 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments.

The one-day seminar will cover a variety of business topics, connecting attendees to practical resources and ideas to develop and grow local business. Presentations will include Small Business Finance options; Selling to the government: government procurement; Facing the new realities; Gut check marketing 101; Internships through BSU; Competing against "Lowest Price" and Trends in employment and Wages.
