NMF delivers workshops
BEMIDJI – The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is partnering with Peacemaker Resources and Nonprofit Assistance Fund to deliver workshops in Bemidji and Crookston.
The workshop “Effective Communications” will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday at Mount St. Benedict in Crookston and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 26 at the NMF Conference Center in Bemidji. The workshop is interactive and focuses on understanding conflict, reducing stress in difficult situations and explores ways to find mutual, beneficial solutions to problems.
Early registration is encouraged. There is a $40 registration fee which includes lunch. To register, visit nwmf.org.
New Subway opens near the mall
The new Subway restaurant next to Taco John’s outside of the Paul Bunyan Mall, has now opened.
The opening of this Subway, with a drive-through, prompted the closure and relocation of its former site at 1008 Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
