Association to discuss Obamacare
The meeting will begin with registration at 11 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m. and guest speakers at 12:15 p.m.
Guest speakers from Mercer Health and Benefits, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota and MNsure will discuss opportunities for managing costs and provide information on how the exchanges will operate in North Dakota and Minnesota.
The meeting is open to the public and lunch will cost $20.

Barber hired as ticket sale coordinator
BEMIDJI — VenuWorks of Bemidji LLC and Bemidji State University announced Tony Barber has been hired as the ticket sales coordinator for the Sanford Center to manage BSU athletic ticket sales.
Barber graduated from BSU in 2012 with a degree in sports management. He then began as an intern at the Saints Sports Academy, and spent two years working in the Sanford Center Box Office. Most recently, he worked within the ticket operations department of the Iowa Cubs Baseball Club.
Schotzko named certified organizer
BEMIDJI — Professional organizer Tammy Schotzko has earned the designation of certified professional organizer from the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers for her business, We Love Messes.
The certification is a voluntary, industry-led effort that benefits the public and members of the organizing profession.
Sanford adds practitioner
BEMIDJI — Sanford announced Bryna VonHold recently joined the Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center as a full-time practitioner.
Bryna received her degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D., and her master’s of science in nursing in the Nurse Practitioner program from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Wash. Prior to receiving her Family Nurse Practitioner certification, she was a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, Boise, Idaho, and is originally from Bemidji.
