Budget discussion set tonight at Sanford Center

BEMIDJI – There will be a conversation on the state budget from 5:30-7:30 p.m. tonight in Lakeview Room 4 at the Sanford Center.

Minnesota Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Commissioner Anthony Sertich will join nonprofit and faith leaders in the area to discuss the new budget proposal. Sertich will provide a briefing on Gov. Dayton’s proposal and nonprofit and tribal leaders will talk about how the state budget affects them and their local communities.

The event will be hosted by the Invest in Minnesota coalition, ACLU-MN and Community Resource Connections (CRC). The event is open to the public.
