Highlighting the schedule is the first outdoor college women's hockey game at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis. next February.

Of the 36 games on the schedule, 17 will be played at John Glas Fieldhouse. The home schedule includes 16 regular-season games and an exhibition with the University of Manitoba.

"It'll be another demanding schedule for us," Bemidji State head coach Steve Sertich said. "We know our league is going to be as tough as it usually is. And our non-conference games are against some quality teams, too. You want to play the top competition and hopefully it'll make us better as the season winds down and you prepare for the playoffs."

The Beavers open the WCHA season with two four consecutive home games: national champion Wisconsin on Oct. 9-10 and Ohio State on Oct. 16-17.

Bemidji State then alternates weekends between road and home series before kicking-off another four-game home stand in January. The Beavers will host MSU, Mankato on Jan. 8-9 and Minnesota on Jan. 15-16.

Then the Beavers will go on the road four straight weekends. The road trip ends with the outdoor hockey game against Wisconsin on Feb. 6.

The game with the Badgers will be part of the Camp Randall Hockey Classic. The Beavers will play in the afternoon and the Wisconsin men will play Michigan at night.

"We need to win some hockey games next year," Sertich said. "I think we made some progress in the second half of last year. We became much more competitive and won some games, but we need to consistently win games in our league and move up in our standings. We have more of a veteran team now and I'm hoping we can win some points in the WCHA."
