Casey Hill and Danny Menton shot eight-over-par 224 and led the Bemidji State University men's golf team placed 16th at the 2011 NSIC/RMAC Crossover tournament Sunday and Monday.
Hill and Menton finished 23rd in the field.
The 54-hole event was played at the par-72 6,955-yard Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg, Neb. Sunday the teams played two 18-hole rounds and the meet concluded with an 18-hole championship round Monday.
The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs captured the team title turning in rounds of 290-289-283-862.
Jim Knous of Colorado School of Mines was the medalist and shot 75-68-69-212.
BSU's Matthew Haugstad finished in 75th (78-75-86-239), Nathan Brown shot 84-77-83--244 and tied for 91st and Andrew Benson carded an 88-83-79-250 to finish 97th.
Bemidji State heads to Troy Burne Golf Course in Hudson, Wis. to compete in the fall portion of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship Saturday and Sunday.
