BEMIDJI – Activities included in Bemidji State University’s annual Homecoming begin Wednesday, and will run through Sunday on campus. Highlights, in addition to the football game Saturday, will be the Bensen Hall dedication at 9:30 a.m. Friday, and the Birch Hall ribbon cutting ceremony at 3 p.m., also on Friday.
Other activities include a concert on the Oak Lawn at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, several Alumni in the Classroom seminars and a film screening Thursday and more Alumni in the Classroom seminars Friday.
Also on Friday is the Beaver Pride Luncheon, rom 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Walnut Hall, BSU Alumni and Foundation annual meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the American Indian Resource Center and the BSU Alumni and Foundation Honors Gala at 5:30 p.m. at the Sanford Center Conference Center.
On Saturday, the Sara Labraaten Walk for Women will start at 8:30 a.m. at Diamond Point Park; registration is required. The Bemidji School of Nursing will host its brunch and school launch event from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the American Indian Resource Center.
Bemidji State University Beavers football team will face off against the University Minnesota – Crookston at 1 p.m. at Chet Anderson Stadium. Tickets are $2-15, and free for children under age 5. The all-football alumni reunion will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Beaux Arts Ballroom.
