BSU football: Tonight's youth clinic moved to Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center
BEMIDJI – The BSU football team will host a youth football clinic today before concluding its spring practice with its annual Green and White spring game.
Because of the wet and cold weather conditions, the clinic has been moved indoors to the Gillett Fitness and Recreation Center and is open to all kids currently in kindergarten through sixth grade. The cost is $15 per participant. Registration begins at 4 p.m., with the clinic starting at 5 p.m. The spring game will follow at Chet Anderson Stadium at 7 p.m. There is no charge to watch the game and the public is welcome.
Current BSU football coaches and student-athletes will be on hand to conduct the clinic, focusing on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, blocking, kicking and tackling. Included in the registration fee are a Beaver football T-shirt, picnic lunch and the opportunity to get autographs from BSU coaches and athletes.
