MORTON, Minn. - The Bemidji State University women's golf team wrapped up play at the 2012 NSIC championships Sunday, carding a team score of 343 at the par-71, 5,906-yard Dacotah Ridge Golf Course to finish in 10th place with a three-round total of 1,109.

The unique conference championship was originally slated to be played as two 36-hole events separated by six months but was trimmed to 54 holes after severe weather passed through the Morton area Saturday preventing play.

The front half of the event took place at the par 72, 5,903-yard Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minn. Oct. 8-9.

Augustana College cruised to a 54-stroke victory in the team standings.

BSU was led by Rachel Kristofferson who shot a 267 over the 54 holes and tied for 31st place.

The Beavers complete their season with an 18-hole triangular Friday in Fargo hosted by MSU Moorhead. Crookston will complete the field.
