Browerville 18-year-old critically injured in head-on crash near Parkers Prairie

PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. - An 18-year-old Browerville woman is in critical condition after a head-on crash just south of Parkers Prairie this morning.

Kayla Carry was driving a 1998 Cavalier south on Highway 29 at about 8:30 a.m. when she crossed the centerline and collided with a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Lucille Vogt, 77, of Parkers Prairie, according to the State Patrol.

The Life Link III air ambulance was called to the scene and transported Carry. Her condition was listed as critical in the State Patrol accident report.

Vogt was also injured in the crash and her injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Firefighters had to extricate the victims.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, according to the State Patrol.
