Bridgette Collette Everett, 51, of Akeley, Minn. died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the White Oak Community Church in rural Akeley with Rev. Chris Conger officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at Dennis Funeral Home in Walker and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 25, 1957, to Joseph H. and Mary Elizabeth (Schultz) Rousseau in Decatur, Ind. She grew up and attended school in Decatur, graduating from Bellmont High School in 1976. Following high school, she worked as a waitress at Pioneer Restaurant where she met her husband to be, Greg Everett. They were married June 4, 1977, and continued to live in Decatur. In 2000, they moved to Minnesota and established their home on the 10 acres of land they purchased while vacationing. The last few years she was employed at Thrifty White Drug Store in Walker where she was able to do all her picture developing for her favorite hobby, scrapbooking. Before that she worked at "World of Christmas."
She is survived by her husband, Greg; daughter, Patricia Reneé; son, Damian (Kelly) Everett of Fort Wayne, Ind.; mother, Mary Elizabeth Jauregui of Stanton, Texas; sisters, Dianne Beltz of Tulluhoma, Tenn., Joan (Lloyd) Siefring, Decatur, Patricia (Rick) Clark of St. Cloud, Fla., Julie Rousseau of Decatur, Theresa (Keith) Bride of Puyallop, Wash., Celia Bryand and Anne Rousseau of Stanton, Texas; brothers, Zeno Rousseau of Midlothian, Va., and John Rousseau of Jaurez, Mexico, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father.; brother, Joseph H. Rousseau Jr.; sister, Ramona Tullis; and nieces and a nephew.
