Brian Lance Lamb, 35, of Hewitt, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1973 to Frances and Edward Lamb in Casper, Wyo. When he was 5 years old, his family moved to Wadena where he went to school and graduated in 1993.
On May 23, 1992, he married Judy Lyn Luedtke at Black's Grove in Wadena. They had six children.
In June of 2008, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was sent to Rochester to be treated. On Oct. 23 he underwent a stem cell transplant.
He is survived by wife; six children: Dominique, Shondel, Christian, Tyler, Jerry and Hunter; his mother, Frances (Kevin) Wulf, of Onamia; his father, Edward, of Miles City, Mont.; brothers: Jerry (Heather), of Bertha and Dale, of Onamia; a sister, Bonnie Lupkes, of Houston, Texas; his father-in-law, Barry Luedtke, of Wadena; a brother-in-law, Vance (Michelle) Luedtke, of California; five sisters-in-law: Jodie Luedtke, of St. Paul, Jackie (Jesse) Ashbaugh, of Hewitt, Joy (Roger) Rasmussen, of Perham, Tina (Mike) Shattuck, of Cambridge and Tanya (Jeff) Klink, of Wadena; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Patricia Luedtke; and grandparents Elsie and Hank Avery, Lloyd Wulf and Bob and Sharon Sanders.
Casket bearers: Dale and Jerry Lamb, J.R. Blummer, Jody Eggen, Dave Holmes and Dewey Sunstrom.
Honorary casket bearers: All his family and friends.
Funeral service: Monday, Feb. 9 at Bertha-Hewitt School in Bertha.
Interment: At a later date at Oak Valley Cemetery, Hewitt.
