Bradley Senogles, 67
Bradley Senogles, 67, of Red Lake, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at Red Lake Hospital in Red Lake.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red Lake, with the Rev. Pat Sullivan officiating. A wake will begin at noon today at the Little Rock Center in Red Lake and will continue until the time of the service. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
The pallbearers will be Christopher Strong, John Czeck Jr., John Anderson, Antoine Archambault, Bautisto Pacheco, Arthur Hardy and alternate, Charles Senogles.
Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Gurneau, Neil Senogles, Eugene Senogles, Bradley "Windy" Downwind, Jack Neadeau, Danny Hart, Sheldon Schoenborn, Mitchell Johnson, Tom Goldtooth, Marvin "Jiggs" Green and Peggy "Pork Chop" Haugen.
He was born Dec. 17, 1941, to Donald and Margaret (Gurneau) Senogles in Red Lake. He was raised in Red Lake. As a teenager he began boxing in Golden Gloves and later became a boxing coach in Red Lake. He raised his family in Minneapolis and moved back to Red Lake in 1978 where he worked as a commercial fisherman and logger. He enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta "Birdie" Senogles of Red Lake; 11 children, Michael Hawk, Bradley Senogles Jr., Antoine Senogles, Angela Bowen, Allison Senogles, Leigha King, Alisa Goodshield, Buster Senogles, Margaret Senogles, Terrance Senogles and Arlana Omaha; sisters, Renee Gurneau and Rochelle (Mitchell) Johnson; brothers, Eugene (Tami) Senogles and Neil (Iris) Senogles; 40 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leigh Senogles; a grandson; two aunts and two uncles.
