The duel between the two guards began early, as Hendricks scored 19 of Bemidji’s 41-first-half points while Dorow tallied 18 of his team’s 44.

Hendricks did most of his damage from the floor as the junior connected on 11 field goals, including seven from 3-point range.

Dorow drained 15 field goals but also converted 16 of his 17 free throw attempts. Those charity tosses proved key to Moorhead’s win as Dorow preserved the victory by nailing 11 free throws in the second stanza.

Joe Strong caught fire after intermission as the BHS guard scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half. Collin Rutledge also reached double figures for the Lumberjacks as he tallied 14.

Bemidji (2-16) returns to action Thursday at Duluth East.
