BOYS BASKETBALL: Bemidji falls to state-ranked Tartan

OAKDALE – The Bemidji High School boys basketball team will have to wait a bit longer for its first win.

The Lumberjacks, playing in the first round of the Tartan Tournament, fell to the host team 94-44 Thursday night in Oakdale.

“They’re one of the top teams in the state, hosting their own tournament, so we knew it would be a tough game,” BHS head coach Dan Ninham said of the Titans, who were ranked No. 7 in the most recent Class 4A poll.
