Boys and Girls Club's hours change, hosting Teen Night Lock In

The Boys and Girls Club of the Bemidji Area will be open at noon today and Friday for all club members age 6 to 18.

The Boys and Girls Club, 1600 Minnesota Ave., will host a Teen Night with a 'Lock In' format starting at 8 p.m. for ninth- through 12th-graders. Youth are able to arrive and depart up until 11 p.m., but after 11 p.m. youth will be 'Locked In' until 8 a.m. Sunday.

All high school students are invited and do not need to be club members.

Activities include Sumo wrestling suits, Ghost in the Graveyard, costume contest, music and dance, karaoke, scary movies, pool and foosball, open gym, free snacks, Gladiator Joust, Guitar Hero, Magic Draft and a Texas Hold'em tourney.

The charge for the Teen Night Lock In is $5, or $2 for youth who bring three canned food items for our local food shelf.

The club will resume regular hours Monday the following after-school schedule: elementary 2:50-6 p.m.; middle and high school 2:50-7 p.m.
